Game of the Month
Posted on October 26th, 2008.
As an experiment, we're going to hold a poll
to see what people want November's Game of the Month to be. Forum users
can vote
here. If you are not a forum user, registration is free.

A Slightly Larger Update
Posted on October 20th, 2008.
Three games were added today. They are:
Crystalis, Desert Commander, and Flintstones - Rescue of Dino and Hoppy.
This was originally part of a larger update
that has since been pushed back to November 16th. Right now, the plans
for this update are still being ironed out, however, it wouldn't be
unreasonable to expect over 50 games to be added in this update.
As always,
your donations help keep vNES running smoothly.

A Slightly Larger Update
Posted on September 21st, 2008.
The Unreleased Games section was added
today. It currently has 16 games that were nearly complete and never
released for the NES. It can be
found here.

A Small Update
Posted on September 19th, 2008.
The games "Simpsons, The - Bartman Meets
Radioactive Man" and "Track and Field 2" have been added. With any luck,
we should have a larger update for you soon.

Donation System Error
Posted on September 3rd, 2008.
Thanks to a error, people trying to donate
games got presented with an error. That has since been fixed, and people
who would like to donate games are
once again able to do so.
Additionally, the contact form works again.

You've Got Games.

It's the monthly update. Added this month is
the entire collection of Wisdom Tree, Color Dreams and Bunch Games,
along with:
Adventure Island II, Clu Clu Land,
Goonies II, The, Jaws, Nobunaga's Ambition, Popeye, Simpsons, The - Bart
vs. The World, Snoopy's Silly Sports Spectacular, Soccer, Solomon's Key,
Street Fighter 2010, Tennis, Volleyball, Wario's Woods.
Update: Our very loyal, and very
Swedish fan,
Link, noticed that I accidentally forgot to activate
Solomon's Key. It has been fixed, and
now works.

Server Downtime Notification
Posted on August 30th, 2008.
The server was down previously for
maintenance. After it was taken out of maintenance something else (other
than vNES) was hosted on this server and evidently hacked. The problem
should be fixed now, and the security issue is being looked into.
I apologize profusely for the outage over
the last 24 hours.

- The lawyers are hard at work at the moment. I was told they
overlooked something, and they might have found a new loophole for us.
Either way, it's a positive thing.
- We're still waiting on the post office to get around to giving us
our insurance payout.

Random News - Vol. 2, Issue 1.
Posted on August 9th, 2008.
- The following games got added today.
- A Nightmare on Elm Street
- Deja Vu
- Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde
- Elevator Action
- Super Glove Ball
- For the two of you who pointed this out, "Solstice - The Quest for
the Staff of Denmos" is not a typographical error, Nintendo simply
wouldn't allow for the word "Demons" in a game, so Imagesoft switched
two letters around.
- We're still waiting on the post office to get around to giving us
our insurance payout.
- Plans are being made to add a section for Freeware games to be
added, but that's going to take some time to figure out.
