One of the problems with running vNES is that we are semi-frequently subject to legal problems. Although the method we use to deliver games is indeed legal in the United States of America, there have been numerous attempts to change laws that would make vNES illegal to operate. Thanks to several hours of the vNES team going through copyright laws, we have found a new loophole that allows us to stay open, with your assistance.

If, for some reason, the copyright laws change in such a way that make operating vNES illegal (face it, Congress only achieves anything when big companies pay them to), you can help keep the dream of free games for the masses alive. In this new method, we will only allow people to play games on vNES that we have in our warehouse. In effect, we would be making vNES into a big online video game rental shop, but all the games are free.
