vNES News Titles Don't Convey Actual News

Hey everyone! It's your favorite nameless, disembodied and apparently British writer back with news about what the vNES team is up to this week!

For this week's update, we've got nine awesome games - the first being "Solar Wars 2001" which is a homebrew game (like D-Pad Hero is) for the NES. You can head on over to the homebrew section and play this awesome game - but it's best if you've got one of your mates at the keyboard with you, as this game requires two players - don't worry, it's a turn based game, so both players can use the same controls if they want.

The other eight games are in the newly-opened Pirate Originals section, a new category of games that were made by frequently indeterminate individuals and sold in various places in Asia. Apparently, nobody really holds a copyright on these games anyway, so they are essentially free to use - the vNES team isn't required to own an original cartridge of these games.

The Game of the Month archive page doesn't have some of the newer Games of the Month. Apparently, nobody can be bothered to write a description of the games, which is why that keeps not getting updated. I'm told it will be fixed soon.

Hey, remember Dexy's Midnight Runners? Yeah! Nobody has thought about them for years, but the nameless, apparently British writer decided to remind you about them for no reason!

Go play some games.
